Day 4 of the shred.

Last night I finally got back into doing the shred.  It felt good to finally start it again.  It was tough.  The thing I find the toughest is the dumb jump roping.  I used to do that in grade school every day.  I was in jump roping competitions and loved to jump rope.  I don't understand why it is so hard.  I still have to do modified push ups.  I am hoping in a week or so I can do the real thing.  I am not that sore this morning.  I had to do weak lunges because in the first lunge I felt something pull in my thigh.  I am hoping it is better today and I can do full on lunges.  They were the best thing and I was so very sore after doing them the right way. 

My favorite level is level 2.  I guess it is because I know I only have 1 more level after that to go.  I cannot believe how fast the DVD goes for me.  It is so tough, but I absolutely love the circuits.  I like the chest fly as well.  I like how when I am doing that I can feel my heart rate start to go down.  I love that my heart rate is up and I know I am burning fat.  The only thing is I am not feeling it in my abs yet.  I have felt it in my arms, legs, and butt just not in my abs.  I am going to try more sit ups afterward I think.  Anyway that is how day 4 of the shred went for me.

  1. Yay for the shred! I have tried level 2 twice now and I like it too!

    I also LOVE chest flies. I feel strong when I do them!

    My abs have not been sore at all after working out but during them I am telling myself "Don't quit, keep going!" because they BURN!
